Hi everyone. We just got back from camping at Garner State Park. We had a great time biking, hiking, swimming, and bbq-ing a ton. Grayson also had a playmate (Catherine Philley) to hang out with which he thought was awesome. He learned a lot from her. He learned a couple words but also he learned how to walk. Here's a quick video of some of his first steps.
Here's another quick video of some of the other stuff he liked to do at camp.
And here's some pictures from the trip.
Hope everyone else is having a great start to summer!
Hope everyone had a great (and long) Memorial Day weekend. We sure did. Spent some time at the pool and took Grayson on his first bike ride. Thanks to everyone who made it to the birthday party last month. It was great to get so many family and friends way out here to visit for a while. I think we had around 60 people show up which was awesome.
Here's a few pictures of the party. I didn't take any myself this time but there were plenty of cameras rolling so I'm sure there are a bunch still floating around there. If you have any you want to share feel free to add a link in a reply to this post or just email them to me and I'll add them to this slideshow.
Same goes for videos. Here's one my mom took.
Here's some pictures. I've been remiss in posting for the last couple months. Grayson has been discovering and learning a ton. He's been in every nook and cranny of our house now inside and out. He's a speedy crawler and is trying out walking but still with the assistance of anything that he can grab onto. He's got a bunch of teeth and more on the way. 1st birthday is just around the corner. See you all soon!
Grayson figured out how to get around a little better on his feet so we took a quick video to share. Now we have to teach him to bend those knees.
Last week we took Grayson for his first skiing trip to Telluride. He had a great trip except for a little trouble on the ride in and out. He loved sitting in the snow and going for rides in his off-road stroller through the town. His favorite part of the trip was listening and singing along with the hippie bluegrass band in Mountain Village.
Here's some pictures of the trip. I'll add some more when I get them from the rest of the family.
Also, here's a quick video of some of the skiing and the scenery on the trip. Not much of Grayson here, just a few clips that I thought were cool.
